Joint Birthdays

Persephone and Gabe have their birthdays just one day apart, so they will forever be sharing birthday celebrations. We decided to spend Persy's day with just our little family and took the full Saturday to be together, (a rare treat!) We went to the Aquarium and then out for pizza that night. It was a simple and perfect afternoon!
Looking at the sharks in the aquarium. Persy loved the penguin exhibit and was pretty excited about touching the sting rays and star fish. She is a real animal lover.


Blowing out the candles on the birthday cake- Persy got pizza for her birthday and Gabe got lasagna the next day. We ate on Thomas the Train plates that Persy picked out from the party store.

Children's Art Festival

Persy and I spent a fun morning doing various art projects at The Children's Art Festival in Springville yesterday. Her favorite projects were the paper mache balloons, card making, and sidewalk coloring.

Grow it Yourself

I teamed up with a couple of my close friends at the Community Garden this year. It's going to be a lot of work but I'm already salivating over the thought of peas, beans, melons, tomatoes, beets, lettuce, leeks, potatoes, corn, pumpkin, peppers, eggplant and more.

Time with Thomas

Persy and I had a scenic drive to Heber yesterday to ride on Thomas the train. Persy really adores this show and was very excited to ride on the train. We had a countdown to the event and every day she wanted to know if it was time to go on Thomas yet.

I Need a Much Faster Camera

My camera has about a serious delay problem and it is driving me nuts. You need to be quick to catch the ever elusive toddler!
