Final Preparations

Gabe and I are quite on edge just waiting for that phone call that will tell us that the baby has arrived. We have the house cleaned, a name picked out, a peditrician chosen, and basic necessities bought. We are ready . . . well, sortof. How do you really prepare to be hit with the biggest change of your life? Yikes!

The feeling is the same no matter how you get the baby. You'll do great, and no, there's no way to be totally prepared for parenthood, but that's what makes it such a great adventure and blessing. Four kids in, and I still have a lot to learn, but I take some comfort that my kids seem to be functioning well in society. ;-)

H and I can't wait for the good news!!

I have no clue, being on the other side of that equation for the moment. But I imagine you just do your best, and ask for assistance and knowledge when you need it.

Best of luck. I'll keep the fingers crossed.
