Self Esteem

I've never met a toddler that didn't absolutely love themselves. They seem totally enamored with their own toothless smiles, chubby tummies, and wild hair. What happens to this unabashed joy in self as children age? Wouldn't it be lovely if each adult you met embraced their own talents, bodies, and thoughts without the need to lift themselves up by demeaning others? Imagine. . .

Seriously-I know what you mean. Maybe this could be part of our council to become more like little children.

Good point. LM and RJ have become adept at finding the camera and taking pictures of stuff (which is why we bought a shock-proof, waterproof, hopefully kidproof camera). Their favorite subject is their own smiling face, of course.

I love the pictures you post of Persy. She always seems so happy to have her picture taken!
